My cream-colored bag was kinda boring

So I painted it.

 

This design was inspired by a peacock, and some buttons. I wanted the eyes of the feathers to be the buttons, but after trying it out it just didn't work. So I left the buttons out.

Could I please have some feedback? My family members are being very kind but somehow when I look at the bag I feel like buying a new one, since I destroyed this one.
